Rabindranath Tagore: The Last Harvest

Marking the 150th Birth anniversary of the first non European Nobel Laureate, Rabindranath Tagore, the Asia Society Museum, New York, exhibited more than 60 works in an exhibition titled ‘The Last Harvest’, most of them, which have never been seen before in the United States. Curated by Professor R.Sivakumar and co organized by The National Gallery of Modern Art, New Delhi and the Government of India, the exhibition traveled to the Art Institute of Chicago, USA; Petit Palais: Musee Des Beaux- Arts da la Ville de Paris, France and the Galleria Nazionale D’Arte Moderna, Rome, Italy.

The Savara Foundation for the Arts provided financial assistance to the Asia Society towards the exhibition and related programs.
